Miss Pole Fitness / Dance UK Amateur competition 2010      Inspiring talent ~ promoting ambition

Due to the huge popularity of Miss Pole Dance Competitions and it’s professionalism, Pole Passion is pleased to present Miss Pole Dance UK Amateur Competition. This competition is designed for all students of all nationalities, not only from Pole Passion Fitness lessons and instructor apprentices,  but that of other pole schools and communities and those individuals who are self taught, still with the belief of offering those individuals, new to the art of pole dance and fitness, the opportunity to show case their art of pole to all, in a none judgmental and unbiased environment. 

Application forms will be available from Pole Passion email:   theteam @polepassion.com      along with the Amateur Rules and Regulations. There will be two categories:

A:  Fitness/Dance singles category only £12 each participant

To pre register – You must be of minimum age 16 on the date of the competition. A completed application form, a signed copy of the Rules and Regulations and a copy of your passport are to be returned to us.  With the application and registration fee of £12 for the singles category.

Costumes and props are encouraged, although no removal of clothing or costume changes are permitted during each performance.  No inverting (upside down moves, whereby the head falls below the hips) or boots above the ankle or heeled shoes allowed.  See rules and regulations for a comprehensive outline of the competition.  

There will be two poles, 3 metre, 2inch (50mm) diameter poles one static and spinning.

Open to all students and instructor apprentices – ( no instructors ) and those who have been poling for less than one year, of all pole school students are very welcome.  Please do not forget to let us know which school you may like to represent.

Prizes will be awarded to the three finalists, along with the knowledge of holding the prestigious International title of Miss Pole Dance Amateur UK Winner 2010.

Kay Penney – head judge and organiser, Founder and Managing Director of Pole Passion Ltd established in January 2005 has been instructing pole techniques since 2001 soon after the birth of her third child for fun and an alternative way to keep fit.

As a highly qualified health, fitness and beauty expert, now working towards her A1 level 3 Assessors qualification, in her continual quest to make pole technique and fitness an accredited and accepted form of physical fitness for all.  Kay quickly realized that pole technique if instructed technically and professionally could benefit many participants and students looking for a new, fun and challenging form of fitness.

With the explosion and rapid success of her unique fitness programmes in 2005 & 2006 and fun pole parties and master classes she, with the support of her dedicated international growing team, has quickly made Pole Passion one of the world’s most respected pole fitness companies in the world.

Kay created Miss Pole Dance UK competition concepts and is now contacted from all over the world from like minded companies for leadership.

She is a renowned International pole judge and instructor and teaches regular mixed ability pole fitness classes in and around the Sussex area, being invited over to the first World Pole Dance finals in Holland in 2005, creator of Miss Pole Dance UK Professional and Amateur competitions, pioneering competitive synchronized doubles and author of accredited Level 1 & 2 Pole Fitness Instructor training qualifications, being awarded the highest REP’s available for her courses. She is also author of the code of pole practice created in 2006, the first of its kind. Kay is passionate about empowering people of all abilities.

She is the organsier of Mr Pole Fitness and R-Pole, the new revolutionising pole equipment specifically designed for the gyms
